Encore has an exceptionally dense, knitted weave that offers superior durability. It is a sanded fabric and has a beautiful, felt-like finish. It is exceedingly durable and is cleanable with a damp cloth, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Encore 22 can be used for drapes of all types but is better suited for upholstery applications due to its stiffness and poor NFPA 705 performance. (See Prospect for similar fabric more suitable for drapes.) Available in 15 standard colors.
